There’s nothing nicer than receiving a bouquet of flowers. It could be to congratulate you on an achievement, or it might be to cheer you up due to a recent bereavement. Either way, a bunch of flowers is a lovely gesture and can turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary one.

Here at Matilda’s Flowers, all of our flower bouquets are delivered wrapped in paper, finished with twine and a petite posy at the bow. Read about some of our most popular bouquets below…

Native Flower Bouquets

Australian native flowers are perfect for bouquets because they are colourful, textural and long-lasting. When cut, they can maintain their form for up to two weeks. Some of our favourite native flowers to put into a bouquet include billy buttons and golden wattle, waratahs, bottlebrush, banksias, kangaroo paws, grevillea and eucalyptus leaves. Some of the most popular native flower bouquets that we stock are Wistful Wildflower, Make Their Day Bouquet (complete with a cuddly teddy bear), Neutral Nora and Peachy Keen.

A Bouquet of Roses

Rose bouquets can mean a lot of things. There’s passion and romance, making it a popular bunch to buy for Valentine’s Day. It can be a sign of friendship and sympathy too. If you’re wanting to make a bold statement of love, you can’t go past our Big Big Love Bouquet of 100 long-stem red roses. For a more subtle gesture, but equally as loving, we recommend Wild Rose, Ruby Rose, the Forever Love Bukura and the Pink Romantic which features red roses surrounded by tiny pink and white blooms. White roses are a great choice too, either in a wedding bouquet or a funeral flower arrangement. See our Lily Rose and Misty White bouquets.

A Bouquet of Sunflowers

A bouquet of sunflowers is such a cheery gift. A symbol of happiness and loyalty, they will brighten up anyone’s life. They are great to give to someone celebrating a recent milestone, or just as a present to yourself to add joy and colour to your home– especially in the summertime. Our Sunshine Bouquet wrapped in kraft paper and padded out with grey-green eucalyptus foliage is a stand-out, whilst The Yarra bouquet of sunflowers, Australian native flowers and wildflowers is a colourful mixed bunch.
